The Pelion peninsula has many attractions, including gorgeous sandy beaches and dramatic mountain scenery, but it has remained something of a hidden gem.  Driving along the coastal road on the Pagasitic Gulf, one passes traditional villages, lovely beaches with crystal clear water and magnificent scenery.  Three of the prettiest villages are Horto, Paou and Kalamos.  The tiny hamlet of Paou has just a couple of houses and a taverna, plus the fabulous views.
The rooms and suites are certainly not luxurious, but they are charming, individual and very quirky. Below the rooms, the pretty gardens spread down the hillside to the sea, with the terrace bar, lovely swimming pool, sunbathing platforms and small pebble beach along the way.
